Code of conduct

Who this applies to

Everyone at the summit: delegates, students, teachers, speakers, exhibitors, competitors in the AI Challenge, partners, press, volunteers and organising staff. It applies across all three days, in every hall and on the expo floor, and to summit channels online.

Expected behaviour

• Treat every participant, volunteer and staff member with respect.
• Remember that a large share of attendees are school and college students. Adjust your language and conduct accordingly.
• Ask before photographing or recording someone, and stop if asked to.
• Follow venue access rules and the instructions of security and volunteer staff.
• Use official channels for registration, exhibition space and any business transaction.

Unacceptable behaviour

• Harassment or discrimination of any kind — including on the basis of gender, caste, religion, disability, language, region or nationality.
• Unwanted physical contact, sexual attention, or persistent unwanted communication.
• Any inappropriate conduct toward a minor. Attendees under 18 are present throughout, and this is treated as the most serious category of violation.
• Disruption of sessions or intimidation of speakers.
• Unauthorised solicitation, misuse of attendee data, or harvesting contact details from badges.
• Misrepresenting your affiliation, credentials or authorship.
• Plagiarism or misattributed work in the AI Challenge.

Reporting

Report a concern to any summit staff member or volunteer, at the on-site help desk, or in writing to [email protected] or by phone on 8240331565. Reports are treated confidentially. Named on-site contacts and the help-desk location are published with the venue floor plan ahead of the summit.

Enforcement

ARANYAJ Society may take any action it considers appropriate, including a warning, removal from a session, revocation of a pass or exhibition space without refund, disqualification from the AI Challenge, exclusion from future editions, and referral to the police where the law has been broken.
